Base rate $40, plus the cost of fuel Base rates, plus applicable NJ sales tax. Ask for your total when you call.
What we do
- We drive to your car in our North Jersey service area.
- We bring emergency fuel so you can drive to a gas station.
- You fill up at the station and carry on.
While you wait
- Get as far off the road as you safely can and turn on your hazard lights.
- Don't walk along a highway with a gas can. Wait somewhere safe, away from traffic.
- If you're in danger, call 911 first.
Once you're going again
If the car takes a few extra tries to start after running dry, that is common while fuel reaches the engine. If it still won't start after a few tries, stop cranking; the car may need a mechanic or a tow.
