Signs of a dead battery
- The engine clicks or cranks slowly when you turn the key or press start.

What we do

- No second car needed, and you don't need to find jumper cables.
If a jump doesn't do it
Sometimes the problem is not the battery. A starter, alternator or other fault can stop a car from starting. If a jump does not get your car going, it may need a mechanic or a tow.
After the jump
Drive for a while to let the battery recharge. A battery that dies again soon, especially in cold weather, may be near the end of its life and worth testing at a parts store or shop.
